Ben Franklin's Virtues

 Due to the "The Search" listed under pages as "Musings" on this site: I have been asked to provide Franklin's list of virtues that he used to chart his progress with daily marks of fulfillment:

Temperance: Eat not to dullness; drink not to elevation

Silence:          Speak not but what may benefit others or yourself;
                       avoiding trifling conversations

                       of your business have its time

Resolution:    Resolve to perform what you ought; perform without
                       fail what you resolve

                       that is waste nothing

                       cut off all unnecessary actions

Sincerity:       Use no hurtful deceit; think innocently and justly; speak
                       accordingly

                       that are your duty

                       think you deserve
